"Creating with purpose. Serving with heart."
I love art, and using my creativity is considered the best case scenario for any possible employment opportunity!
A Bit About Me

I moved to Charles County in 2000. Shortly after, I began my federal career at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC.

Two years later, I was honored to receive several agency offers and chose to swear in with the Administration for Children and Families (ACF). During my tenure there, I earned two associate degrees from the College of Southern Maryland and completed numerous career training certifications. I had the privilege of serving in the Immediate Office of the Assistant Secretary under several political appointees. In 2022, I transitioned to the U.S. Census Bureau, where I currently serve as a Program Analyst. This year, I proudly celebrate a milestone—15 years of federal service!

As an engaged community member I’ve had the pleasure of organizing events that uplift and inspire. In September 2022, I hosted the “Black Empowerment Expo,” a sold-out event featuring dozens of vendors and hundreds of participants. I’ve also led several large-scale community yard sales, creating space for community, connection and commerce.

Recently, I returned to the College of Southern Maryland to earn a Letter of Recognition in Studio Art (expected May 2025). I’m equally excited about completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in African American Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus (May 2025).
I was recently accepted into the Master of Arts in Art Therapy program at West Liberty University.

As a wife and mother of two, with three amazing adult bonus children, I find joy in beach vacations, family time, audiobooks—and spoiling my two sweet dogs, Jackson and Kali.
